Late last year, London/Brighton group Rough Hands began recording their long-awaited debut album at Electric Studios in Brighton. After alienating themselves for close to a year, they are now set to release the album next month through Dog Knights Productions.
The record is titled ‘Let Me Win Your Hearts And Minds’ and sees the quintet working alongside Jag Jago (The Ghost Of A Thousand, The Maccabees, The Xcerts) to expand their musical pallet. The end result is a near-perfect blend of hardcore and post-hardcore with Alex Dench’s lyrics serve as a statement of alienation and the need to hold on to a purpose.
Today, we’re premiering the second track to be lifted from ‘Let Me Win Your Hearts And Minds’. The track is called ‘Relapse’ and is two minutes of sturdy, unhinged hardcore that directly tells you what Rough Hands are all about.
‘Let Me Win Your Hearts And Minds’ by Rough Hands will released in August on Dog Knights Productions/Illegal Activity.
‘Let Me Win Your Hearts And Minds’ will be available on the following formats through Dog Knights Productions:
Vinyl: Transparent light blue (150) / Transparent dark green (150)
Cassette: Pink (20) / Blue (30) / Green (50)
