Returning with their first album in six years, the always evolving 52 Commercial Road have returned with ‘Remote Connection’. Having existed in various forms throughout the last decade, 52 Commercial Road is now a quartet with ‘Remote Connection’ serving as a breathtaking post-rock record. Throughout the record, the four-piece subtly mould elements electronica, jazz and trip hop amongst brooding alt rock skin. It sees them joining with Holy Roar sister label Truthseeker Music, as well as working once again with long-time producer Samuel Navel (Adele, Two Door Cinema Club) in Paris.
Ahead of the records release on May 27th, Already Heard are premiering the intriguing and compelling short film for ‘Remote Connection’’s closing track – ‘Cordyceps’. Produced by Grizzly Films, the enticing video captures the dark and melancholy undertone of the track.
