Ahead of their mouth-watering ‘Amplified Echoes’ US tour together next month, Manchester Orchestra and Jimmy Eat World have covered each other’s tracks.

Manchester Orchestra have opted to put their spin on ‘Table for Glasses’, the opening track from Jimmy Eat World‘s emo classic record, ‘Clarity’. It sees the Atlanta, GA group leave their intricate mark on the track. Frontman Andy Hull said it is “an absolute honour to trade covers with one of our favourite bands”.

To return the favour, Jimmy Eat World have put an emo-rock spin on Manchester Orchestra‘s ‘Telepath’. While the original is delivered timidly and intimately, the Arizona group have injected it with some big guitars.

Hear both tracks, alongside the originals, below.
