Welsh outfit Holding Absence continue to tease fans with music from their upcoming third album, ‘The Noble Art of Self Destruction’. Today sees the quartet release a track called ‘Honey Moon’.
Described as “a lovesick ballad cut from a place of deep longing”, ‘Honey Moon‘ is a stirring, slow-burning number that highlights the powerful vocal talents of Lucas Woodland.
On the new single, vocalist Lucas Woodland commented “Honey Moon is perhaps Holding Absence’s most beautiful song to date! A track inspired by the Pixies and Deftones – this is a lovesick poem that looks to the stars to portray a deep, isolated yearning for the love of another.”
‘The Noble Art of Self Destruction’ is scheduled to be released through Sharptone on August 25th

Alongside appearing at next month’s 2000trees Festival, Holding Absence will follow the release of ‘The Noble Art of Self Destruction’ with a UK headline tour this November.
