With just two weeks until to the release of ‘Human‘ on Arising Empire, emerging French metalcore group, Resolve, have shared another track from it. Titled ‘Older Days’, it’s a triple vocal assault as Resolve‘s Anthony Diliberto is joined by Aaron Matts from ten56 and Marc Zellweger of Paleface Swiss.
Together, they incorporate elements of trap and hip-hop into the Resolve‘s cinematic metalcore sound. While lyrically, it sees Diliberto accepting his personal struggles. “I wanted to express how I find comfort in surrendering to my inner demons, to the point that getting rid of them would make me an entirely different person which I’m scared to encounter,” Anthony stated.
On the inclusion of Aaron Mats and Marc Zellweger, Resolve bassist Robin Mariat said, “When it came to picking it as a single for the Human campaign, we knew it was the one track we should try and do something different with its release. So we called for two of the most accomplished vocalists we know, Aaron Matts from ten56. and Zelli from Paleface Swiss to come to our studio and spice it up a bit more with us. Not only that, but we thought it could also be fun to film all 3 vocalists do a vocal run-through for the track once It was all done.”
