Already Heard Video Premiere: SickOnes – Let Me Loose

South West hardcore punk band, SickOnes are preparing to team up with Ohio groovy hardcore crew Divebomb for a split EP titled ‘Transatlantic Split’. With its release fast approaching, we’re premiering the video for ‘Let Me Loose’ by SickOnes.

Formed just over 18 months ago, the Bristol-based band have been compared Trash Talk, Ceremony and even Beastie Boys with their blend of 80s punk and hardcore and socio-political lyrics. ‘Let Me Loose’ captures the trio’s ferocious angst with an underlying groove. While its video sees them take a full on DIY approach, having been filmed in their practice space and edited by the band.

“There is so much expectation to succeed in life sometimes that the only way you can deal with the stress is to let it manifest itself physically,” explains vocalist Ben Curd about the track. “’Let Me Loose’ is for those times, when you just need to express physically whatever emotion you have inside, even if you don’t know what it means or where it came from.”

‘Transatlantic Split’ by SickOnes/Divebomb is released soon.
