With the release of their third album, ‘In Lieu Of Flower’, getting closer, Aaron West and The Roaring Twenties has shared another track from the record. ‘Whiplash’ is a pensive ballad with a wistful sliding guitar and aching falsetto, presenting Aaron West… in their rawest form.

Furthermore, the narrative sees the character of West hiding his drinking again, as he tries to cope with the weight of his decisions after finishing the band’s UK tour, as captured on their previous single – ‘Alone at St. Lukes’. The track was co-written by indie rock musician Noah Henry Weinman AKA runnner.

‘In Lieu Of Flower’ by Aaron West and the Roaring Twenties is released on April 12th on Hopeless Records/Loneliest Place On Earth.
