With an already impressive line-up consisting of Deaf Havana, We Are The Ocean, Young Guns and many more, the organisers behind 2000 Trees Festival have announced Chicago punk legends Alkaline Trio as headliners for the Saturday night of the festival.

In additional news, Mclusky* will headline The Cave on the Saturday night. Whilst Future of the Left, Benjamin Booker, Vennart (formerly Oceansize) and Hacktivist are the other names announced today.

2000 Trees organsiser Andy Rea had this to say about the main stage headliners:

“To say we’re delighted is a massive understatement, because for many rock fans Alkaline Trio defined a summer with their album ‘From Here to Infirmary’ and songs like ‘Private Eye’ and ‘Stupid Kid’ are pop-punk anthems known the world over.”

Tickets for the festival are selling fast, with only 150 three-day tickets left.

2000 Trees Festival takes place at Upcote Farm, Gloucestershire 9th – 11th July 2015. Further information can be found here.
