With comparisons to A Day To Remember, While She Sleeps, LetLive, Bristol post-hardcore quintet Everyday Sidekicks are set to deliver ferocious and energetic collection in the form of their new EP, ‘The Things I’ve Seen’ on on Friday 20th November.
Already Heard has bagged the exclusive first listen of ‘Its All Smiles & Laughter’ from the EP. It is an enthralling slice of post-hardcore that highlights Archie Hatfield’s distinctive vocals alongside the bands rapidfire guitars and punchy drum work.
Archie Hatfield also passed on these comments about the track:
“I wrote the lyrics to this song during a very dark time. My sister was ill, my family had very big money troubles and it started to affect my life.
This song is about how sometimes even though people seem happy – isn’t always the case and it reflects how hard it can be to talk to people about it. In a way when you’re at that stage you start to feel like people are annoyed by you actually trying to talk to them, every day you feel like you are just constantly messing up and it brings you to a very low point in life.
So this song goes out to everyone who feels like I have. I hope you enjoy it.“
‘The Things I’ve Seen’ EP by Everyday Sidekicks is released on November 20th.
