Last month Leeds up-and-comers FURR released their latest single – ‘Padlocks’. Over the course of three and a half minutes, the quartet serve up a favourable, fuzz-laden number embracing pop harmonies making FURR an exciting prospect as we look ahead to 2017.
However, ‘Padlocks’ didn’t have a music video until now. We’ve teamed up with FURR for the exclusive first premiere of their video for ‘Padlocks’.
The band had this to say about the video:
“’Padlocks’ is a fast paced song, so we wanted to ensure we emphasised that visually. Our videographer liked the idea of working with a circular motion around us, creating a sense of depth by shooting through different band members, rather than having us all face forwards like we’re performing to an audience.
Setting up the lights from the ceiling was quite a tricky process – which involved lots of cable ties, extension leads and one bulb falling and smashing – but the effect it gives was well worth the effort. We’re very happy with how the video has turned out (especially the instrument tracking shots, we think they’re cool) and hope everyone enjoys watching it!”
