Already Heard Video Premiere: Lastoneout – Two Fifty Five AM

Hailing from the South West comes Lastoneout. On November 4th, the Plymouth-based quartet are set to release a new mini-album called ‘This Was Never My Story, It’s Yours’. However, today we’re premiering their new video for ‘Two Fifty Five AM’.

With a sound that harkens back to mid-2000’s emotional post-hardcore, ‘Two Fifty Five AM’ sees Lastoneout display a blend of impassioned vocals and stiff guitars that aims to fill the void left by the likes of Funeral For A Friend and Alexisonfire.

For the video itself, the four-piece decided to take a back-to-basics approach as guitarist Liam West explains:

“We’re really excited to be releasing ‘Two Fifty Five AM. It’s one of those songs that just came together really easily and was one of the first songs we wrote for the mini album. We spent months working on loads of intricate video ideas, with big stories and loads of stuff going on, but something always got in the way of actually getting them done. So one day we sat in the van and just thought ‘f**k it let’s do itourselves’, stuck a go pro on the windscreen and mimed along. It’s a little rough around the edges, but it definitely came out perfect, and hopefully it shows another, less serious side to us.”

‘This Was Never My Story, It’s Yours’ by Lastoneout is released on November 4th.
