After months of speculation, Asking Alexandria have revealed Denis Shaforostov as their new vocalist.

To celebrate the news, a new song called ‘I Won’t Give In’ has been released and can be heard below.

Shaforostov, formerly of Down And Dirty/Make Me Famous, had this to say about the news:

“I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long and now the time has come. I’m extremely happy and proud to announce that now, I’m officially a part of such an incredible band and family – Asking Alexandria. I’m beyond excited for this new, unbelievable chapter of my life though it still feels so surreal! I just want to say massive “THANK YOU” to my family, friends, @benjaminpaulbruce @cameronjamesliddell @cassells @officialsambettley @joeyismusick @ashavildsen @diony1 @kbomassive and to all my fans all around the world for all the support and faith you’ve put and had for me over the years. It truly means EVERYTHING.

I can’t even begin to explain how stoked I am about new Asking Alexandria and our new album. Ben, James, Sam, Cam and me have been working on it very hard for the past couple of months and we couldn’t be happier with the result. We’ve put our hearts and souls into this record, it’s done for YOU. Trust me, it’s something absolutely mind-blowing and I’m sure it’s going to please every single member of “AAFamily” – those, who’s been with the guys since the day one and those, who just recently joined this strong and unbelievably supportive family!

The wait and your never ending support has been rewarded. I’m incredibly proud to say that today the world will hear the beast the new AA is. “Asking Alexandria – I Won’t Give In” is OUT now! Check out the link in the bio! I can’t wait to hear you sing this one out the top of your lungs with me VERY soon!

Here’s to the new beginning guys, I can’t wait to meet every single one of you on the road! Cheers!”

However due to"visa issues", Shaforostov’s live UK debut has been cancelled. Tickets will be refunded, and the rest of the band l will be hanging out at the venues in Manchester and London to meet those who have tickets anyway. The band have also promised a UK tour will also be announced soon.
