Yorkshire indie/emo outfit Beesley have announced they will be going on hiatus following their forthcoming UK tour.

The band made the announcement via Facebook:

“As we make the finishing touches to our new self-titled EP, and embark on our first tour as a band. We are sad to have to say that because of a number of personal commitments Beesley will no longer be an active band. We are so thankful for all the experiences and opportunities that have been given to us, for a band who started just because we didn’t want to do work in a class in college, Beesley have done so much more than any of our expectations. Meeting great people and playing cool shows with bands we never thought we’d get to play with. We would like to say thank you to anyone who ever came to a show, shared our music with their friends, put us on one of your shows, helped us to record our music and, just for caring.

Treat our upcoming tour as a string of last shows as we have no plans at this time to do a last show.

James, Elliott, Blue & Josh”
