Longtime Already Heard favourites Bellevue Days have returned with a new single called ‘Friends’.
It marks the first slice of new material since expanding to a five-piece. As for the track itself, ‘Friends’ sees the quintet showcase a raw and radiant side that pulls from 90’s and 2000’s rock and indie with a hint of hip-hop.
“Friends is a song about feeling alone even though you are surrounded by people. In a world where ‘followers,’ ‘likes,’ and ‘views’ are a mark of popularity, the song explores the juxtaposition between digital and real-life interactions,” explains guitarist Alan Smith.
Bellevvue Days will be releasing more new material over the coming months.
