Hailing from Arizona, meet Bite The Hand. With their brand of so-called “sugarcore”, the quintet have dropped a video for ‘Stay Mad’.

Highlighting their mix of heart-on-sleeve emo melodies and razor-sharp hardcore riffs, Bite The Hand don’t hold back on ‘Stay Mad’. Equally brutal and delicate, it’s taken from their debut EP – ‘Conned Out Of Life’. Commenting on ‘Stay Mad’, vocalist Echo Breen (she/her) explains it’s a track that’s pissed off with a purpose. “There are so many broken systems and injustices that we have to bear witness to on a daily basis, it can feel overwhelming and impossible to work through,” explains Breen. “When you are down bad, you can stay mad. This song focuses on my anger that follows me around like a dog, but it’s anger that often motivates us to change in a positive way.”

Released this past summer on Wiretap Records, ‘Conned Out Of Lifes six tracks are a feral joyride of hardcore punk that has seen the Phoenix group be compared to Gel, Fleshwater, Scowl, and Drug Church.
