Coheed and Cambria will follow up their headline slot at next month’s 2000trees Festival with a UK tour in October.
Dubbed the ‘Welcome To Forever Tour’, it will see the New York state quartet be joined by English prog metallers Haken. The tour will begin in Birmingham, before taking in dates in Cardiff, Manchester, London, and Nottingham.
This past March, Coheed and Cambria released their 11th album. ‘The Father of Make Believe’ is the third part of their ‘Vaxis’ narrative. In our review of the record, we described it as “a rewarding experience,” and provided genre curveballs that kept listeners engaged.
Alongside their appearance at 2000trees, Coheed and Cambria will embark on a co-headline US tour with fellow festival headliners Taking Back Sunday this August and September. While over in the UK in July, they will be hosting an acoustic set and signing at Rough Trade East on 6th July.
