As the road to the Download Festival becomes shorter by the day, we will be speaking to a whole host of acts from this years festival about what to expect from them at Download 2015.
It’s been four years since Welsh post-hardcore legends Funeral For A Friend graced Download with their presence . Last time round they were on the second stage but for 2015, they’re back on the main stage and playing alongside some impressive names; Muse, Faith No More, A Day To Remember, Rise Against and Parkway Drive. The Saturday main stage has plenty to offer and with FFAF on second, they’re bound to please fans with a set full of fan favourites.
As they prepare to return to Donington Park, we spoke to bassist Richard Boucher to get his thoughts on this years Download Festival.
AH: Why should fans check you out at Download?
Richard: Cause we’ll be keeping it real.
AH: What can we expect from your set?
Richard: A mix of our big classics!
AH: What other bands are you looking forward to seeing?
Richard: Faith No More and Rise Against.
AH: What are your memories of previous Download Festivals?
Richard: We headlined the Pepsi Max stage a few years ago and it was great. Myself and our guitarist Gav stayed for the rest of the weekend and our tales cannot be told.
AH: What advice would you give to people attending Download Festival?
Richard: Stay safe.
AH: Do you have anything else you’d like to say?
Richard: Yeah. I like bass I do.
Funeral For A Friend will be appearing on the main stage at 11:50am on Saturday June 13th.
