German party metallers Electric Callboy are preparing for a busy year. They’re set to play at the Slam Dunk Festival in May followed by a massive headline show at London’s Alexandra Palace in November. To give fans a preview of what’s to come, they’ve dropped a new single – ‘Elevator Operator’.

As always, the sextet don’t disappoint with a brash mix of breakdowns and energetic EDM. It firmly taps into Electric Callboy‘s signature sound and has a video to match. Featuring German actor Uke Bosse in the titular role, he takes vocalists Nico Sallach and Kevin Ratajczak on a journey of upward trajectory. Along the way, they pass cute kittens and a mermaid before arriving at a pulsating metal rave.

The track is the band’s first original track since 2022’s breakthrough album, ‘Tekkno’. Last year, they collaborated with BabyMetal on the infectious ‘Ratatata’. With an abundance of festival appearances and headline dates lined up, we wouldn’t be surprised if a follow-up to ‘Tekkno’ to appear at some point in 2025.
