Muse Embrace French Disco on ‘Nightshift Superstar’

Muse continues to preview their upcoming ‘The Wow! Signal’ album ahead of its June 26th release. Their latest single, ‘Nightshift Superstar,’ contains a heavy influence of French house music. Combined with elements of rock and disco, it’s a track that is sure to split opinions.

Electric Callboy Team Up with The Offspring on ‘Let The Good Times Roll’

Ahead of their appearance at this weekend’s Download Festival, Electric Callboy have dropped their latest collaboration. ‘Let The Good Times Roll’ sees the German techno metallers work with SoCal punk legends, The Offspring.

As the latest preview of ‘Tanzneid,’ it combines Electric Callboy‘s brand of crushing party-metal with an infectious hook, courtesy of the unmistakable vocals from The Offspring‘s Dexter Holland.

As always, Electric Callboy deliver an entertaining video with over-the-top humour, high-energy performances, and cameos from comedian and television personality Howie Mandel, actor and comedian Brian Posehn, and metal icon John Goblikon.

‘Tanzneid’ is set to be released on August 7th via Century Media Records.

New South Arcade Single Released (‘DeadMeat’)

With a busy summer that includes an Apex Stage slot at this weekend’s Download Festival, South Arcade have released their latest single, ‘DeadMeat’.

Where recent tracks have honed in on a hyper-pop sound, this time out the quartet combine its energy with a big, infectious pop-punk hook.

On the track, the band said: “We went into writing wanting to tell a sort of modern Romeo and Juliet story (but with a less depressing ending), and we left with DEADMEAT. It has this reckless optimism about it where the two characters’ worlds shouldn’t really overlap but they’ve found each other regardless – they want to escape all of that noise, steal a car and leave town. It had this ‘us against the world’ energy that we loved.”
