Their upcoming full length is called ‘Trash Talk,’ they’ve just released their new single ‘Dancing With Wolves’ and they’re from Louisville. Uh Huh Baby Yeah! That’s the band in question and also a delightfully enthusiastic name to say out loud!

The band sit somewhere between The Audition, Head Automatica and Panic! At The Disco with their sugary coated vocal melodies, laced over pop rock hooks and licks; Big vocals, big choruses and bigger hearts on their sleeves.

As part of our “If I…” feature vocalist Kevin Fletcher answered the same set of questions that many have faced before. In the answers below you’ll stumble across Wembley Stadium, Glassjaw and Elvis Presley. Intrigued? Of course you are!

If your band would like to be featured as part of “If I…” full details can be found here.

If I could re-record one song it would be…
Kevin: It would totally be “Hold On Me” from our first album Till Death Do Us Party. We play all the songs from that album a little different, but that one sounds so much better now than when we recorded it. If you’re asking about an artist other than ourselves, I’d say Michael Jackson’s “Bad”. We’re putting together a pretty sweet cover of it right now.

If I could re-live one tour/show it would be…
Kevin: We won the Ernie Ball Warped Tour Battle of the Bands twice back in 2009. We played Indianapolis and Cincinnati. Both shows were awesome, but Cincy was phenomenal. We went on just as Chiodos was finishing up on the mainstage. All of the people watching them had to pass our stage as they were leaving and they all stopped dead. Literally close to 5,000 people watched us play. It was insane.

If I had the chance to play one venue it would be…
Kevin: Wembley Stadium, hands down. If you’re big enough to play Wembley Stadium, you’ve really made it.

If I could play with one band it would be… Kevin: There isn’t really ONE band we could narrow this down to. The Used would be awesome. The Cab, Fall Out Boy, Glassjaw…and the list goes on.

If I could play with any person living or dead it would be…
Kevin: Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury and/or Elvis Presley. These are 3 of our biggest influences and are 3 of the greatest entertainers to have ever lived.

If I could bring back any band that have split up, it would be…
Kevin: I think almost everyone would answer this question the same. The Beatles. No doubt about it.

If I wasn’t playing music, I would be…
Kevin: Dead. Or close to it. Music has been that saving grace, not just for me, but for everyone in this band. Without it our lives wouldn’t be nearly as meaningful.

If I could play a different genre it would be…
Kevin: Rap. I’m an aspiring white rapper. NOT. I can’t rap to save my life. But I can beatbox like a mother fucker.

If I could have written any song it would be…
Kevin: Smooth Criminal by Michael Jackson. That song is one of the hookiest jams ever written. Plus, had I written it, I’d get to do that sick gangsta lean he does in the video.

If I could have written any album it would be…
Kevin: Michael Jackson Thriller. It always comes back to MJ.

If I could headline any festival, it would be…
Kevin: Bamboozle comes to mind. It’s always a super awesome line-up with some of the greatest artists working today. To be a part of that would be amazing, but headlining would be surreal.

If I could organise my own festival, the bands playing would be…
Kevin: All of our favorites; The Used, Glassjaw, UHBY! (haha), The Cab, Cobra Starship, Jimmy Eat World, dear god… this could take all day.

If I could play any other instrument, it would be…
Kevin: The piano. I want to learn so bad. I know the basics of it, but haven’t quite gotten it down. One day. One day.

If I could give one piece of advice to a new band, it would be…
Kevin: Never give up. Seriously. This is something you’ll hear a lot of and it couldn’t be more true. We all have dreams. They can come true, but it takes hard work and perseverance. Stick with it and it WILL happen.
