Having been announced for this years Download Festival, Aussie rockers Hands Like Houses have released a new song called ‘I Am’.

The track, which was recorded in Janaury in Los Angeles, is available now on iTunes and its video can be viewed below.

Vocalist Trenton Woodley passed on the following comment about the new song:

“On the road we’ve seen such an awesome collective of people connecting with music – on both sides of the barricade – but amidst it all there is so often a disconnect between the words being spoken and what’s being heard. ‘I Am’ is a challenge to artists and anyone with a platform – to be responsible and accountable in what you sing, speak and scream, and to those listening – to challenge what you hear, never be afraid to question, disagree or speak out, and to create your own inspired perspective.”
