Longtime Already Heard favourite (and all-around nice chap) Jamie Lenman has announced his intention to retire from touring and releasing new music.
In a video shared on social media, Lenman explained that the past 10 years as a solo artist has been “fulfilling” but also “physically and emotionally draining”. He goes on to say he has no plans to record new music for the foreseeable future and that he won’t be doing his own shows anymore. However, he hasn’t ruled out the occasional festival appearance.
Since making the decision six months ago, Lenman says he’s felt “much happier”. Going forward, Lenman hopes to focus his efforts on voice acting, presenting, and illustrating children’s books.
However, Jamie Lenman has launched an official fan club via Patreon. Amongst the various perks fans can receive include access to his demo vault, quarterly acoustic Zoom gigs, and a bi-monthly art print.
Membership prices start from just £1. Further details can be found here.
