With anticipation building for the big weekend in late May, the organisers of the Slam Dunk Festival have revealed the location of the afterparty for the North portion of the festival.

With the Leeds date moving away from its Univerisity location into the city centre and with over 4,000 people set to attend the organisers needed somewhere big enough to hold everyone for the afterparty. So they have announced the Leeds First Direct Arena will be the setting for the Slam Dunk Festival North afterparty.

Here is what Slam Dunk Event Director and Founder Ben Ray had to say about the news:

“With the festival moving to a new location there has been much speculation over the location of the infamous afterparty. We are proud now to announce something we have been putting together for some time. The afterparty will take place in the massive Leeds First Direct Arena. With over 4000 people set to be rocking out to some of the biggest rock anthems, the event is set to possibly be the biggest rock club night the UK has ever seen! We are even in contact with the Guinness World Records to see if we can set an official record!?”

The aftershow venues for the other events, will remain unchanged from last year. In Hatfield, the aftershow will take place in The Forum, and in Wolverhampton the aftershow will take place in The Wulfrun Hall.
