Brit rock favourites Lonely The Brave continue to preview their forthcoming fourth album, ‘What We Do To Feel’, before its release on November 10th via Easy Life Records. Today, the quintet have shared their latest single – ‘‘Long Way’.

The track radiates positivity with a strong rhymic drive, complemented by lyrical honesty.

“Musically it was a track that came together with a feeling that it offered a really positive vibe, it’s maintained a riff but certainly moves away from the dark,” explained Lonely The Brave Guitarist Ross Smithwick.  While vocalist Jack Bennett adds “Lyrically, it’s a bit of an exploration of the commitment of relationships and the desire to keep going no matter what.”

In additional news, Lonely The Brave will be doing a short run of album release appearances next month.

‘Long Way’ Lyrics

Day by day, I’ll take you all the way
and you’ll be late.
I’ll be honest.
Taking stake, all of the time you wast
but you’ll be late, I’ll be honest.

We’ll take the long way
and hide.

You’re all my thoughts.
dissolve up in salt.
now a fresh breeze.
how I listen through the pines,
thins out all the lies

don’t wake up, don’t wake up

Day by day, I’ll take you all the way
Cause the you know the place.
You know the place, where existing is fake.
And our thoughts, they unlace.
We’ll take the long way.
