Earlier this summer, exciting British duo Love Is Noise announced they had joined Century Media. Today they have unleashed their second track since joining the label – ‘Jawbreaker’.
The single proves to be a raucous moulding of alt-rock with Love Is Noise‘s usual harmonious flourishes. Overall, it’s another frantic and delicious offering from the emerging two-piece.
Lyrically, it sees vocalist Cameron Humphrey in an introspective mood, searching for a sense of contentment. “‘Jawbreaker’ talks about my quest towards self-love” says the Love Is Noise frontman. “In a world full of distraction, as I grow older, I’m trying my best to truly appreciate the world around me and the people I love the most”.
‘Jawbeaker’ along with previous single, ‘Soft Glow’, are expected to appear on Love Is Noise‘s forthcoming yet-to-be-announced album.
‘Jawbreaker’ Lyrics
Hear this
Don’t go flying in
Don’t go sprinting to a fire that burns the lights out.
Run, Run
They will come for me
Run
From
Someone
Moving in a time warp
Searching and searching to find my place
1,2,3 now I’m back where I’m meant to be
You were all I wanted
Hear the echoes from my heart
A morning of pleasure fades into the dark
Jawbreaker
I am crushed
Give me ecstasy
Happiness from all the things I hold close to me
Hold close to me, so close
You were all I wanted.
Hear the echoes from my heart?
A morning of pleasure fades into the dark.
Fades into the
Jawbreaker
