Hotly tipped UK band Love Is Noise have announced their debut will be released early next year. It’s titled ‘To live in a different way’ and will be released on February 14th, 2025 through Century Media Records.
“‘To live in a different way’ is the story of a kid from Bolton trying to understand the world he lives in,” explains Love Is Noise‘s Cam Humphrey. “It’s 11 tracks full of love, heartache and dream-soaked melody, I believe we’ve created something special.”
On recording the album with engineer Kel Pinchin alongside recently departed guitarist Tom Mellon, Cam stated the band “made a conscious decision to make the record feel like a live band, mistakes included! In an era where perfection is heavily favoured, we wanted to do the complete opposite and dive headfirst into creating something our idols would’ve set out to create.” Following the recording of ‘To live in a different way’, Mellon decided to leave Love Is Noise to explore other musical endeavours
To coincide with the news, a track called ‘take.one.minute’ has been released. It exemplifies the sonic palette that Love Is Noise has carved out since forming in 2021. Combining Humphrey’s introspective words with a heavy and layered sound and shoegaze melodies, it serves its purpose as a teaser for ‘To live in a different way’.
The release on ‘To live in a different way’ on Valentine’s Day will be followed by a record release show in London. ‘A Night In The Capital’ which will take place at The Lower Third on February 22nd.
