After returning in superb fashion last year, the Merthyr Rock Festival have announced it will not be taking place this year.The organisers made the following statement:
“We’re sad to announce that there will be no Merthyr Rock festival in 2015.
We inherited Merthyr Rock as an event in 2013, and last year’s one day event and fringe festival went well, but for a combination of circumstances, we have regrettably decided not to stage the event this year.
We’d like to thank everybody who has supported the event over the last few years; our partners, the bands and of course our audience. Currently there are no plans for any further editions of Merthyr Rock.”
