Microwave and The Dirty Nil Reveal Co-Headline UK Dates

Microwave The Dirty Nil

In what is a fantastic pairing, Atlanta, Georgia rockers Microwave and Canadian riff-specialists The Dirty Nil will be teaming up and taking over the UK in April 2024.

The run of eight UK dates is part of a wider European tour.

“We’re beyond excited to announce that we are teaming up with the incredible Microwave and returning to mainland Europe after nearly 5 years of absence. These are going to be some special shows, see you there,” said The Dirty Nil.

Likewise, Microwave are excited for their trip to Europe, stating “Netherlands! France! Germany! UK! We’re coming back bb and this time with Canadian Rock Legends The Dirty Nil!”

It’s been four years since Microwave last dropped a full-length, ‘Death Is A Warm Blanket’. However, they’ve been far from inactive with a handful of singles being released over the past 18 months. They also dropped an ‘Anniversary Edition’ of their brilliant 2016 LP, ‘Much Love’ earlier this year.

As for The Dirty Nil, the longtime Already Heard favourites dropped ‘Free Rein To Passions’ this past May. It’s a record I praised, noting the trio’s “distinctive brand of rock that leaves you with a massive grin plastered on your face”.
