#NewMusicFriday (October 13th 2023)

October 13th 2023

Friday the 13th is commonly known to be unlucky but maybe this one could be a bit different, as this week’s #NewMusicFriday is loaded with noteworthy releases.

For starters, Creeper delivers the theatrical ‘Sanguivore’. While The Menzingers‘ find comfort easing into their thirties while retaining their punk hooks on their impressive return; ‘Some Of It Was True’. Whereas Beartooth explore self-love on their fifth album – ‘The Surface’, and ††† (Crosses) duo Chino Moreno and Shaun Lopez return with a second full-length in the form of ‘Goodnight, God Bless, I Love U, Delete.’

Even though those four releases are leading the charge for today’s new releases, there are plenty of fresh EP’s and albums to get stuck into. Whether that’s Boygenius‘ four-track companion EP, ‘The Rest’, queer punk collective Drean Nails showcasing their dynamism on ‘Doom Loop’, or the UK’s underground scene being represented by Leicester melodic punk newcomers Dead Nice and Sheffield bombastic pop-rockers Air Drawn Dagger.

If that’s not enough, you can check out music from AikoPinkshiftBeauty School DropoutThe Dollyrots, and much more.
