With the release of their new album, ‘All You Embrace,’ fast approaching, One Step Closer have debuted a third track from the album. ‘Orange Leaf’ sees the Wilkes-Barre, PA group lean into their hardcore tendencies. Equally, it demonstrates their melodic strengths, it sees One Step Closer showcase a well-balanced blend of aggression and melody.
Following on from ‘Leap Years’ and ‘Giant’s Despair’, the trio of songs released from ‘All You Embrace’ hints at a record that will take One Step Closer to the next level. The record has been called their “most ambitious songs” to date, embracing elements of hardcore, emo, 90’s alt-rock, and more in the process. On the evidence we’ve heard so far, it has all the ingredients to be one of the year’s addictive releases.
‘All You Embrace’ is due for release on May 17th via Run For Cover Records, and will be followed up shortly after with a brief visit to the UK.
