This week Limerick, Ireland singer-songwriter Anna’s Anchor (Marty Ryan) and Sunderland’s James Carroll will be releasing a split EP called ‘Crossing Channels’ (Little L Records/Progressive People Records), and Already Heard is proud to be premiering the EP in full ahead of its release 24 hours early.‘Crossing Channels’ sees Marty and James showcase their talents with 2 song each. Marty’s (Anna’s Anchor) input takes an alt-rock, emo approach which has been compared to acts such as Into It. Over It. and Sunny Day Real Estate. Whilst Carroll’s approach is more melodic with a hint acoustic emo. Overall ‘Crossing Channels’ compliments both Marty’s and James’ style with the end result being a short but sweet compelling EP.
Anna’s Anchor and James Carroll will also be touring in the coming days in support of ‘Crossing Channels’.
