Having just about recovered from Download (don’t worry, we’ve got a whole bunch of content coming soon) and with the World Cup kicking off, there’s a handful of notable releases to serve as your soundtrack for this weekend.

State Champs (‘Living Proof’) and Mayday Parade (‘Sunnyland’) both provide summery, upbeat albums to brighten up your mood. Likewise, garage punks Culture Abuse get in on the act with ‘Bay Dream’.

There is also the debut solo full-length from Mike Shinoda and his cathartic record – ‘Post Traumatic’.

For those wanting something with plenty of riffs, then The Darkness, Sepultura, Orange Goblin and Madball all have new releases.
