Last year we saw the return of London metallers SikTh, and after ending 2014 with a superb headline UK headline tour, the sextet have revealed they will be releasing new music soon.The as yet untitled EP will see the band enter the studio for the first time in 10 years. They will be recording in the summer with a November release date planned.
As the band are without a label, they have launched a PledgeMusic campaign which lets fans help fund the EP, Details of the campaign can be found here, and sees the band offering fans various rewards including an exclusive pre-sale to their December UK tour.
Guitarist Dan Weller had this to say about the campaign:
“Since we have such a good relationship with our fans we decided that funding the E.P via a PledgeMusic campaign was the best option for us and them. We could have signed a deal but it just adds so many complications for a band like us.”
