Emerging Scottish alt-metal band, The Colony, have revealed their latest single – ‘Forever Seeking’.
It’s the latest track to be released from their forthcoming album, ‘Have Hope’.
“This song is about the journey of becoming a better version of yourself.”
Unlike The Colony‘s last single, ‘Ex-Hail’, ‘Forever Seeking’ sees the Glasgow group reign things in to take a more balladic approach with an empowering chorus. Lyrically, the track explores the theme of self-improvement and forgiveness.
On the track, the band commented; “This song is about the journey of becoming a better version of yourself. Being able to recognise that you are not perfect and every day you aim to be a better person. Regardless of the mistakes and regrets we all might have; the self-journey is the journey we must take to be comfortable within ourselves.”
When is ‘Have Hope’ by The Colony released?
The Colony‘s fourth album, ‘Have Hope’, is set to be released on April 7th, 2023. It is produced by Steven Jones (Bleed from Within, From Sorrow to Serenity).
