Sweet Pill Cancel Forthcoming Tour Dates
Sweet Pill have announced the cancellation of their upcoming US, UK, and EU tour dates. The news comes shortly after the Philadelphia band released their second album, ‘Still There’s a Glow’, via Hopeless Records.
The band shared the following statement:
“Due to personal reasons, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to cancel the rest of our upcoming US shows, including dates in the UK / EU. We made this decision out of love. We’ve worked so hard to get to here and need the time to regroup in order to give this record the tour it deserves. We appreciate all of your support and understanding. Please also respect our privacy while we navigate this hard time.
Tickets will be refunded automatically, if you do not receive notice in the next 48 hours, please contact your point of purchase. Due to expensive tour costs, we are unfortunately in debt from this hard decision. If you’d like to continue to support us, our leftover tour merch is available on our US online merch store. We also would like to encourage the same support for Heart to Gold, Spaced, and Stereosity.
Thank you again, Sweet Pill forever”

Confirming the news on Instagram, Alkaline Trio vocalist and guitarist Matt Skiba said:
“THIS guy. I met Tosh at Swingers a few months back for lunch to meet up and discuss the possibility of him playing in Alkaline Trio… Apart from the absolute MONSTER he is behind a drum kit he is just a lovely guy: KIND, polite, enthusiastic, driven and HILARIOUS. Tosh is a beautiful human being we’re very excited to travel and play music with and a drummer we couldn’t be more thankful to be able to welcome into OUR family.”
