Cambridgeshire melodic rockers The First have announced they are splitting up after nearly a decade together. To mark the bands split, they have released a new EP called ‘Live.Exist’.The EP is available on iTunes and the video for the title track can be viewed below.
The First also released this departing statement:
“After many years and members we feel we have come to the end of the road – although we didn’t quite get to where we wanted to be, the things that we have achieved are more than we thought would ever be possible. But, we feel we have to be realistic about the future and the progression of the band which is why we all feel that we simply cannot go any further.”
“Thank you to everyone who has believed in our band either behind the scenes or behind the barriers, we are and always will be eternally grateful.”
