The Nightmares Deliver New Single – ‘Cruelly Yours’

The Nightmares

Rising South Wales goth punks The Nightmares are getting into the swing of spooky season and have debuted a new track called ‘Curelly Yours’ via Venn Records (Europe) and Equal Vision (ROW).

With its upbeat tempo, dark undertone, and harmonious keys, it’s easy to see why the quartet have been compared to the Cure, AFI and Alkaline Trio, but that’s not a bad thing. ‘Cruelly Yours’ is The Nightmares‘ first slice of new music since the release of their debut album, Séance’, earlier this year.

On the track, The Nightmares‘ singer and guitarist Adam Parslow said “‘Cruelly Yours’ is a horror movie-inspired song about the breakdown of an intense relationship which drives someone into insanity”.

Its arrival comes as the four-piece prepares to head out to support Kids In Glass Houses this month, followed by shows supporting Creeper in November. They’ll also be playing alongside Funeral For A Friend and Dashboard Confessional in Norwich on October 13th.
