Earlier this month, WWE superstar Becky Lynch debuted a new entrance theme. The track is called ‘New Lows’ and is written and performed by The Wonder Years.

As a fan of the band, as well as a friend of frontman Dan ‘Soupy’ Campbell, the current WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion asked the band to write the track especially for her. Talking to the Metro about the track, Campbell said, “she wanted a whole kind of new presentation of her character. I think that she was like, ‘It’s time to move into a new era for me, and that means new music.’ I just wanted to make something that she was going to love, more than anything else.”

Lyrically, the track contains personal references to Lynch, including her daughter, Roux, and husband, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.

It’s also not the first time The Wonder Years have collaborated with WWE. In April 2024, the Philadelphia band released ‘Year of the Vulture’. The track was the theme for ‘NXT Stand & Deliver,’ which took place in their hometown.

‘New Lows’ Lyrics

The sleepless nights, the desperate calls, the empty road
I’m spitting blood, I’m staring down a broken nose
I’m sick to death of standing in the bitter cold
They’ll rue the day they let me hit a new low
Cause I’m no one’s shadow

I felt the lights, and I’m not going back there
I talk to your ghost every night in my sleep
And I say, I’m through playing dead, man, I don’t care
You can block the exits, I ain’t flinching
Bayside built me

The pressure builds, it bottles up, and then explodes
And rips you out of orbit like a black hole
I’ll burn it down and watch as something better grows
And drag you toward the future with your eyes closed
Cause I’m no one’s shadow
