After much anticipation the latest round of bands for this years Hevy Fest have been announced and it’s very impressive.

First of all Thrice will be returning to the UK for the first time since their hiatus in 2012. Joining them will be Coheed & Cambria will be performing their 2003 album ‘In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3’ in full at the festival. Whilst The Get Up Kids will be performing their influential emo classic ‘Something to Write Home About’ record.

If that doesn’t make you want to buy a ticket Touché Amoré, Hacktivist, Baby Godzilla, Black Tusk, The Colour Line, Continents, Creeper, Fathoms, Fort Hope and Wraiths are the other names announced this evening.

Whilst it seems the previously announced Collisions are no longer playing the two day festival.

Hevy Fest 2015 will once again take place at Port Lympne in Kent on Friday August 14th and Saturday August 15th.
