On their new EP, ‘Moonflower’, Slovakian post-hardcore outfit landless showcase a flair for providing intricate riffs and searing breakdowns. However, at its core, there is a heartfelt urgency filled through emotional melodies.
While songs such as ‘Golden Days’ and ‘Blooming Mind’ stir up a ferocious assault of metallic post-hardcore, the EP’s closing track, ‘Everglow’, allows landless to truly show their softer side.
“‘Everglow‘ is a really personal song and is about losing someone, who left us way earlier than we would have ever imagined,” vocalist Ladislav Mikoláš explains. “The love you feel in your heart is so intense and ongoing, that you will never ever forget. Just nice memories stay with us forever.”
To coincide with the release of ‘Moonflower’, we’re premiering an exclusive acoustic performance of ‘Everglow’.
‘Moonflower’ EP by landless is out now on Famined Records.
