Weekly US News Round-Up (7/9/2012)

Even though we love our Stateside friends, our main goal here at Already Heard to showcase and highlight the best in established and emerging UK bands.

As a result of this, each week we bring you a concise round-up of news from America.

Nevertheless we will continue to work with bands from overseas in a variety of other ways; reviews, interviews, live photos, acoustic sessions, features and more.

In this weeks round-up, we’ve got new videos from Green Day, Title Fight, The Static Age and The Word Alive, and new material from Billy Talent, Blaqk Audio, and Touché Amoré.

In addition their details on two new signings from No Sleep Records, New Found Glory’s ‘Sticks And Stones’ 10th anniversary tour, The Fest 11 and much more.

Green Day released their new video for ‘Kill The DJ.’ Another new song, ‘Let Yourself Go’ can be heard here.

Broadway Calls have signed with No Sleep Records. The band will release a split EP on October 23rd with Mixtapes. A full length is expected to be released in early 2013.

Title Fight posted the video for ‘Secret Society.’

Billy Talent are streaming their new album, ‘Dead Silence.’

Touché Amoré have released a new song titled ’Whale Belly’, which can be streamed hereThe track is taken from the band’s upcoming split release with The Casket Lottery.

The Static Age released their video for Lady Now.’

Vinnie Caruana (I Am The Avalanche, The Movielife), Steve Choi (RX Bandits), Casey Deitz (The Velvet Teen) and Roger Camero (No Motiv, The Warriors) have been revealed as the members for Peace’d Out.

Shop Radio Cast will release Angels and Airwaves‘Love Part I and Part II’ as a 4-LP vinyl set. Product is expected to ship around October 25.

New Found Glory have announced the long awaited dates of their ‘Sticks And Stones’ 10th anniversary tour. Support will come from The Story So Far (all dates), Seahaven (11/24-12/3) and Candy Hearts (12/5-12/16).

Candy Hearts premièred a new song called ‘Bad Idea.’ ‘The Best Ways To Disappear’ is released November 6th via Violently Happy Records/Bridge 9.

We Were Skeletons will release ‘Blame & Aging’ on October 22 via Topshelf Records.

Troubled Coast posted a new song called ‘Northwest.’

Victory Records have signed French metalcore outfit As They Burn.

Glass Cloud released the video for ‘If He Dies, He Dies.’

Creative Adult (featuring members of All Teeth, Lifelong Tragedy, Purple Mercy and No Sir) will release a new EP ‘Dead Air’ in October on the band’s own label, Broke Hater. A song called ‘Forbidden Fruit’ can be heard here.

That’s Outrageous! posted their new single, ‘The New York Chainsaw Massacre Pt. II.’

‘Hobo’s Lament’ the new EP from Larry and His Flask is set to be released on September 25 via Paper + Plastick Records. Listen to ‘Closed Doors’ here.

Into The Flood have joined Century Media. The video for ‘The Destroyer’ can be viewed here.

Three-piece New Jersey punk-rockers Aspiga have announced a new full-length record, ‘Every Last Piece’ and will be released on vinyl and digital via Paper + Plastick Records on November 20th.

Animal Style Records have signed Raindance. The label will release the band’s ‘New Blood’ digitally, and on vinyl as a 1-sided 12" limited to 500 copies (100 red, 200 pink, 200 purple) on October 30th.

Sick/Sea will release ’Moral Compass’ on October 16 via Atlanta-based Autumn + Colour Records.

Indian School launched a Kickstarter so fans can them get a van for their winter tour.

Affiance and Modern Day Escape will co-headline a US tour this Fall with special guests Deception Of A Ghost and Picture Me Broken.

Ex-Friends have announced a new 7", ‘No Wonder We Prefer The Dark’ and will contain one extra bonus track (‘The Legend of The Holy Drinker’) on the digital verison of the EP. A release is expected on September 18th via Paper + Plastick Records.
