You maybe familiar with Womps under their former moniker of Algernon Doll. However having become a duo earlier this year, they are now known as Womps and have revealed their first single.‘Live A Little Less’ is the first material to appear from the duos time working with producer Steve Albini (Nirvana and Cloud Nothings) at Electrical Audio Studios late last year. It will be paired with another track called ‘Dreams On Demand’ for a doube A-side single. ‘Live A Little Less / Dreams On Demand’ will be released on 18th September via Damnably Records.
With it’s scrappy and raw guitars, melancholy vocal delivery and subtle pop hooks, ‘Live A Little Less’ certainly shows Womps have a bright future. You can hear the track below.
