Yashin have announced they have split with guitarist Lewis Millen and has been replaced by Connor McCleod.
Millen made the following statement:
“Hi Everyone,
I’m sorry to have to announce, but my time has come to part ways with Yashin.
The band has been a huge part of my life and the last 5 and a half years have been incredible. Recently however, my goals and passions in life have changed direction, and it was only fair to myself and the guys that I step aside, allowing the continued success of the band.
The main goal of this statement, is to let all Yashin fans know how much the band and I, personally, appreciate their loyalty and support over the years. I will carry it with me forever, and it is something which will keep the band growing stronger for years to come.
Yashin will remain a part of my life, as will music, and I hope to see all of you guys at some shows! I wish the best of luck to the guys for the upcoming tour and for everything they have planned for the future. 2013 is going to be a massive year for Yashin!
I want to keep this short as I am sure you guys can all imagine its very difficult to say goodbye.
Thanks for all the love and support from day one, it’s been awesome.
Lewis. xxxxxxxxxx”
