The organisers behind the Heavy Music Awards have announced details of its 2018 awards ceremony. It will place in London on Thursday 23 August 2018. In additional news, the “Best Breakthrough Band” category will be split into two awards; UK and international.

Festival News
Several names for the Manchester Punk Festival have been announced. Amongst them is headliners Propagandhi, Mobina Galore, The Bennies, Antillectual, Nervus, Fresh, Darko, Wonk Unit, and Drones. The festival will be held across a number of central Manchester venues (Gorilla, Rebellion, The Bread Shed, Zombie Shack, Underdog, Font & The Thirsty Scholar) between the 19th and 21st April 2018. It is hosted by three DIY promoters; TNSrecords Moving North and Anarchistic Undertones.
