With just weeks until they kick off their highly anticipated UK tour, Bring Me The Horizon have announced they have parted ways with keyboardist/producer Jordan Fish,
In a short statement on X (formerly Twitter), Bring Me The Horizon posted: “Bring Me The Horizon has decided to part ways with Jordan Fish. We want to thank him for the musical journey he took with us and wish him luck with everything in the future. Meanwhile, we continue to work on Nex Gen, with brand new music coming very soon. See you on our UK tour in January.”
Jordan Fish re-tweeted the news, commenting “I’m really grateful for my 11 years with the band, and extremely proud of all that we have achieved together. I look forward to hearing what they do next, and wish them every success in the future. I’m excited to start this next chapter in my career.”
The news comes after Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes shared a snippet of a new track called ‘Kool-Aid’. The complete track is expected to be included on the band’s forthcoming ‘Post Human: Nex Gen’ release. The album (we presume) was scheduled to be released on September 15th 2023 but was delayed due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
Since joining Bring Me The Horiozn, initially as a session member during the making of ‘Sempiternal’ in 2012, Jordan Fish‘s involvement in the band would grow, going on to co-produce 2015’s ‘That’s the Spirit,’ their 2019 releases, ‘amo’ and ‘Music to Listen To…’ and 2020’s ‘Post Human: Survival Horror’. However, according to muso.ai, Fish hasn’t helped produce any of the band’s recent singles, including ‘Die4U’, ‘Strangers’, and ‘LosT’.
