On the eve of reissuing their 2014 album, ‘Artery’, instrumental trio Brontide have released the first piece of new music in a decade. ‘Mineral’ is an eight-minute track that sees the British trio as dynamic and emotive as ever.
“Mineral feels new, while also paying tribute to the heavy music we loved back when we got together. Please listen to it loud and uninterrupted,” commented Brontide.
It comes as drummer William Bowerman, bassist Nathan Fairweather and guitarist Tim Hancock prepare for their one-off reunion appearance at ArcTanGent Festival in Bristol later this month. The three-piece last played together in 2017.
The aforementioned ‘Artery’ will be reissued on limited edition silver fade vinyl tomorrow (August 2nd).
