Coheed and Cambria have returned with what some are calling their “most aggressive track to date”. The track is called ‘Blind Side Sonny’ and is ignited by Claudio Sanchez’s firey guitar riff and distorted vocals.

While its video unveils a brand new villain featured as part of the band’s ever-growing The Amory Wars / Vaxis universe.

Commenting on the track, Sanchez says “’Blind Side Sonny’ is a song about revenge. What may seem like an innocent choice to someone could be the breeding ground of another’s malicious misunderstanding. Perception can be your worst enemy.”

2023 has seen Coheed and Cambria hit the road having toured North America alongside Incubus in recent months, before going out on a co-headline run with Primus. This weekend they’ll be headlining the Saturday night of Furnace Fest in Alabama. They’re also see to play When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas and then they’ll be going to Australia for the multi-city Monolith Festival next month.
