Dayseeker Detail Acoustic Album

So Cal metalcore/post-hardcore band Dayseeker have revealed they will be releasing a collection of acoustic tracks. Entitled ‘Replica’, its due to be released digitally on April 19th with a physical release to follow on June  14th via Spinefarm.

Its 10 tracks will consist of intimate takes of fan favourites such as ‘Sleeptalk’‘Neon Grave’, and ‘Afterglow’, along with a cover of Evanescence‘s ‘My Immortal’.

It’ll also include guest appearances from Holding Absence‘s Lucas Woodland, Beartooth‘s Caleb Shomo, and indie artist Amber DeLaRosa.

On the album, Dayseeker vocalist Rory Rodriguez said “”Replica’ is one of our favourite releases to date. It completely shows a new side to our band and the kind of music we’re capable of creating.”

Hear Dayseeker’s Acoustic Version of ‘Burial Plot’ with Beartooth’s Caleb Shomo

To mark the announcement of ‘Replica’Dayseeker have shared the stripped-back version of ‘Burial Plot’. It sees the quartet be joined by Caleb Shomo of Beartooth, sharing vocal duties with Rory Rodriguez.

This reworked version prospers through its ambient tone, restrained delivery, and the vocal interplay between Rodriguez and Shomo. The original version appears on 2019’s ‘Sleeptalk’ full-length.

Dayseeker will be over in the UK and Ireland in April when they support Pierce The Veil alongside Holding Absence.
