‘Acoustic EP’ is simply 4 gems of indie pop in an acoustic sense from Young Statues. 4 beautifully laced songs of upbeat acoustic guitars and hooks aplenty that have been converted from the self titled full length.

‘Spacism’ is at the forefront of the upbeat parade with the memorable chorus lyrics of “you don’t have to say, say, say it again” but on a whole the songs are just stripped down as the album songs aren’t exactly distorted anyway.

This acoustic offering isn’t essential, but it is nice to hear the songs arranged and given a new skin.
