British-born and Milwaukee-based singer-songwriter Aymen Saleh aka Holy Pinto has returned with a new single – ‘Death Is In The Air’.

Pieced together above a bar on Milwaukee’s iconic Brady Street, ‘Death Is In The Air’ sees Aymen hone in on a twiddly Americana-tinged sound while lyrically exploring love’s complexities. Aided by electric guitar and synth from Bartees Strange‘Death Is In The Air’ is a raw, vulnerable, and spacious return for Holy Pinto.

Originally hailing from Canterbury, Aymen started Holy Pinto over a decade ago alongside former drummer Ryan Hurley. Following 2016’s debut full-length, ‘Congratulations’, the indie-pop project became a solo venture for Aymen relocating to Milwaukee in the late 2010s. In the years since releasing Holy Pinto‘s second album, ‘Adult’, Saleh has released several singles and EPs. While ‘Death Is In The Air’ is positioned to be a reintroduction to Holy Pinto.
